Senior pictures in beautiful Las Vegas
Serena’s Las Vegas, Nevada senior session took us to a very unique place called Tivoli Village. This area has cobblestone streets lined with beautiful boutiques and restaurants, and gives you the feeling that you are walking through the streets of Italy. Serena showed up wearing a gorgeous lavender dress, and she wore cute brown suede boots. Her hair was down and her brown curls were to die for. Her makeup was beautifully done, her mother, father and grandmother all came along to support her and carry all of her things for her session.
Watching her family dote over her was so sweet.
Serena is an only child, and they absolutely adore her. We were doing pictures in the street and her dad saw a fancy car and he couldn't stop talking about it. So yes we had to get a shot of the car in the background. When I showed dad the picture he fell in love with it. It made his day.
Next Serena changed into a cute black dress and wore her Converse that is her absolute favorite shoe. They were perfect with the cute little black dress. This is when we added the cap and gown. This was probably my favorite part of the day. Mom and I were giving her directions and she was going with it all. Serena gave her all. We got some amazing shots of her throwing her cap. Just had to make sure that she didn't look like a flamingo standing on one leg.
After the cap and gown part we drove to the soccer field to get amazing shots of her in her soccer uniform. Serena and I got down and dirty. We had to get the shots that mom wanted and we did. I loved seeing moms face when she finally saw the final images. That's why we get dirty to give mom what she wants.
Headed to Calico Basin next:
Lastly we drove out Calico Basin in Red Rocks Canyon, a beautiful area with gorgeous red rock mountains. Serena wore jeans and a black tank top. It was a little chilly but she was such a trooper. She found a rock that she wanted to climb which made her day. While we were shooting her mom and grandmother were finding fun red rocks to take home. The whole family loved the location and were doing their own photoshoot. At the very end, Serena wanted to climb more rocks. We walked up the path and she and she climbed up a big one and we took her last picture, and it was an amazing one.
Serena is graduating from Arbor View High School at the end of May. She has been accepted to a college in Arizona. She is still contemplating her plans due to her dad retiring from the United States Air Force in June. She is going to be spending her summer in Tennessee and Texas with family, while she decides what's best for her. Serena is an amazing young lady. We absolutely had the best time getting to know her and her beautiful family.
