Growth and Transformation: Documenting the Senior Year Journey
Senior year is a pivotal moment in your life. This is the year that you are going to be realizing that you are going to be “adulting next year” and that mom and dad will always be there, but what happens after you graduate is your descion. Getting senior pictures taken will be one of the best ways to document what you were doing and how you felt. These memories will be so fun to look at down the road and share with your friends and family.
Reflecting on the Beginning: Starting Senior Year
When you finish junior year of high school is when you get that “ah ha” moment that in the fall you are starting your last year of primary school. While you are excited because you will be the highest class in the school and that you are on your way to being out of your moms house. It comes with “ What am I going to do in my senior year and where am I going after I graduate?” There are so many emotions that you will have good ones and scary ones, but this is the exciting part of life.

Celebrating Friendships and Connections
Enjoying your friends and building new connections with others is probably one of the most important things you can do. You need your friends and the connections that you make to laugh with, confide in and go on adventures with. These moments will be with you forever. You will look back on them and smile.
Self-Discovery Through Extracurricular Activities
I mentioned this before or during my senior year I decided to try something new and it was cheerleading. This is a year that you know what you want to do after high school or you still don't know. Try new things and you may open a new door that you never thought was possible or that you would like or even learn to love. These days there are so many more clubs, and sports in schools that you can find something that you will like or not.
Personalizing Senior Pictures: Showcasing Individuality
I adore this one for so many reasons. I love to see your band uniforms, soccer shirts that you have had for years, and sentimental things that bring you joy. This is the perfect opportunity to bring things that represent you. Your outfits will also tell the story of who you are, and maybe where you are going if you include a college shirt that you will be attending in the fall after you graduate. When you look back on these senior pictures you will think “omg I can’t believe I wore that” or “ I am so thankful that I have a professional picture of me in my softball uniform” These are the reasons that I love taking pictures of seniors.
Transitioning to the Next Chapter: College and Beyond
This chapter brings so many emotions. “What am I going to do after high school?” Some of you may know and others of you may not know and that's fine. No matter where you are in your senior year this is going to be a challenge. You may be leaving home for the first time and be scared, some may be excited. There is a whole world out there waiting to embrace you and challenge you. Take a deep breath, you got this! Your family and friends are right there with you cheering you on.
Leaving a Legacy: How Senior Year Impact Last
Your senior year doesnt end when you graduate. The things that you have done will be with you forever, and in the community. By being a part of your high school and volunteering in yur community will impact everyone. You're going to always have a special bond with the school that you went to. Teachers will remember you when you walk down the hall on open house night with your younger sibling. Those connections that you made are a lasting impact.
Advice for Embracing the Journey
Embrace every single moment of your senior year. There will be highs and there will be lows. This will be the only time you will ever experience this in your life. Go out there and do great things that you will be proud of. Document this amazing moment in time with journaling and senior pictures.
